This Hatha Yoga workshop introduces you to the different yoga postures and breathing exercises. Designed to align your skin, muscles and bones, the postures taught allow you to open the many channels of the body—especially the spine for energy to flow freely, rejuvenating your body.

 

Translated, ha means “sun” and tha means “moon.” Practising Hatha Yoga aims at creating balance and uniting opposites. You will develop a balance of strength and flexibility in your body; as well as effort and surrender in each pose, allowing you to find peace within yourself.

 

Relatively gentle and slow, this Hatha Yoga is great for beginners or participants who prefer moderate physical activity.

CORE YOGA

Building core strength through yoga

Using yoga’s concept of breath as the root of inner strength, this Core Yoga workshop will allow you to build stronger abdominal, lower back and pelvic muscles through a series of more intensive and physically demanding sequences.

 

This form of yoga practice will offer you a better sense of balance and ease not only during the session but in your daily lives as well. It also prevents ailments that may result from a weak core, such as degenerative disk and arthritis, and aids in improving your digestive system.

 

Designed for beginners with no background in yoga, this workshop is perfect for those who wish to have a good work out and achieve calmness and inner focus at the same time.
